1995 LAPD D.A.R.E. #29

Card Review: 0.3  To my knowledge this is the last of the 3 LAPD DARE Wallach cards there are for me to post.  After a slight change in style from 1993 to 1994, they recycled the '94 design and used it again in '95.  They did change the "say no to drugs" pep talk on the back though, which had been the same the previous two years.

1993 LAPD D.A.R.E. #25

 Card Review: 0.8  This 1993 LAPD card is more or less the same design as the LAPD Card from '94.  I'm probably being way too hard on this set with such a low grade.  I just feel that if you're going to make a card, even a promotional one, that you pony up for at least some half-way decent card stock and maybe take more than 45 seconds or so to come up with a design.  That said, the design isn't horrible, it's a clean, nice enough look, the card itself is just far too flimsy.

1994 LAPD D.A.R.E. #29

Card Review: 0.4  This "card" has stock so thin it barely qualifies as a card.  It's slightly thicker than the cover of a magazine. I've heard these were given out to kids by the LAPD.  Instead they ended up on the secondary market.  Wonder what the school kids did with the money they got for selling them.
