1993 Stadium Club #686 Members Only

Card Review: 8.0 This is the 3rd and final variation put out by Stadium Club in 1993.  One would have been fine, but given the over-production of the era, they had to find some way into duping people into buying obscene amounts of product.

I find the "Members Only" stamp to be a little odd, but I guess odd is better than stupid.

1993 Stadium Club 1st Day Production #686

Card Review: 7.9  This card is identical to the regular '93 Stadium Club base card but for the little shiny box in the upper left.  These were perceived to be very rare and in high demand in '93.  Sort of the opposite of what '93 Stadium Club is perceived to be today.  I remember having a good number of them, despite not buying a huge amount of this product, yet the Wallach remains rather elusive to this day.

Fun Facts: *Wallach only wore #25 for one season with the Dodgers before switching back to #29.  Today he wears #26 has the 3rd base coach.

1993 Stadium Club #686

Card Review: 8.1  I guess this card and set are fine as far as cards go.  This was the third year of Stadium Club and the first where no one held any pretenses about it being a "valuable" set at the time.  Just pure mass produced junk.  It did however have inserts.  Which worked fell for me in the fact that the spoiled kid up the street opened box upon box of this stuff and would dump all the "worthless" base cards on the rest of us for free.  Joke was on him I guess, as in hind sight, it's pretty clear the inserts were worthless too.
