Amelia, NE

This nice assortment of 24 cards was sent way back in February by Aaron of Amelia, Nebraska (sorry for the delay Aaron).  Included was an '83 Donruss, which is probably my favorite Donruss Wallach card.  I wouldn't call '83 Donruss my favorite Donruss set (I prefer '87, and maybe '84 depending on my mood), but when it comes to strictly the Donruss Wallach cards, the '83 tops my list.  Also in the bunch was a strangely elusive '88 Donruss All-Star.  For some reason I don't see that card very often, case in point, it's the first new one I've acquired since 2016.  The other highlight was the three 1991 Stadium Club cards.  I don't really consider cards that have gloss on both sides to be technically "baseball cards," or at the very least consider them an unholy abomination to the spirit of Sy Berger, but as far as the modern over-glossed atrocities go, 1991 Stadium Club is probably my all-time favorite.  It's been 27 years and counting, and it hasn't been topped.
