Large Sportlots Purchase
I realize I haven't been posting a whole lot of cards of late. It was starting to bug me, so I went ahead and unloaded on the seller with the largest number of remaining Wallach cards on Sportlots.com. "Jessecar" is now 717 cards Wallach cards lighter, and my total is now well over 12,000.
It's always a little weird when I make a large purchase like this. It's a bit annoying to think that some dealer had more 1990 Leaf Wallach cards sitting around in a box, than I had after actively trying to amass them for 20 years. But each time it happens, I figure it's that less likely to happen again. "Jessecar" was able to sell me 37 1990 Leaf Wallach cards. I only had 30 previously. However now I have 67, so the odds of someone having 67+ is pretty slim. I take some solace in that. Then again, finding someone able to sell me more wouldn't be a bad thing either.
The cards arrived in the boxes seen above. I really like the way these boxes look inverted, and am thinking that going forward, I'll be doing the same with my boxes. Below are some shots of the actual cards. I didn't go to crazy with the photos, but it's enough for you to get the idea. Updated totals are also listed below.

When you do a big purchase from one dealer like that do they cut you a price break? I like Sportlots.com quite a bit, but sometimes I struggle paying 18 cents for commons to finish a set.
