Cumberland, Maine

These drawings (The ball is actually on a separate piece of paper) were sent by kids of Byran in Cumberland Foreside, Maine.  These are the first original Tim Wallach art items that I've been sent.  Thanks for the effort.  The cards Bryan sent are pictured below, along with updated totals.  The 1991 Baseball Price Guide card (the '71 design card) is the first one that's ever been sent in the mail, and only my 2nd copy total.

And check out Bryan's blog; "Replacement Level Baseball"

Also, while I appreciate the effort, and understand the confusion given that Wallach's name is all over the back of the card, the 1988 Topps Expos card (two seen above) is not Tim Wallach, it's Vance Law.  My theory is the Topps photographer asked who Tim Raines and Tim Wallach were so he could get the photo, the Expos sent out Hubie Brooks and Vance Law to clown him.  It may not be a '85 Gary Pettis caliber stunt, but I think it counts.

Updated Totals:

1988 Donruss All-Stars: 35
1988 Fleer: 209
1988 Score: 212
1988 Topps x4: 525
1988 Topps Super Stars x2: 15
1989 Donruss: 264
1990 Donruss: 298
1991 BB Price Guide: 2
1991 Score Super Star: 9

  1. I gotta think people send you that card just cuz it mentions Wallach on the back. Like how sometimes they send you checklists that happen to list a Wallach card. Because, yeah, I don' think anyone could confuse Vance Law for Wallace. But who knows.

    1. I'm sure. At this point it's more of a running joke.
