Montreal, Canada

Steve sent these from Saint-Laurent, Quebec.  That didn't mean much to me, because I'm a geography challenged American.  When I went to add it to my map, it quickly meant something to me.  Saint-Laurent is a borough of Montreal.  This is the first package to be sent to me from the City of Montreal.  This one came a mere 8.8 miles away from Olympic Stadium, the former home of the Expos.  I'm glad Montreal is now represented, if not a little disappointed that it took this long.

In addition to a cool return label, it also included a very unique assortment of cards.  The Stuart and Durivage are two the scarcer Wallach cards there are to be found.  That '90 Fleer is also of the "Canadian," or "Glossy," variety.  Not to mention, a very healthy dose of O-Pee-Chee was included.  A good number of these cards are the very first ones to be sent via a reader.  Thank you for cards Steve.  I can assure you this blog will endlessly promote the return of Baseball to Montreal to it's handful of readers.
